ER SERIES CLUTCHES AND  BRAKES

Elasta-Flex ER clutches and brakes feature a centrifugal expander tube designed for commercial laundry, tire builders, paper converters and other textile-related machinery. The ER element expands and engages directly with the drum, providing flexibility and the ability to disconnect the coupling when necessary. It can be used as a shaft coupling, light slip clutch, or tension/holding brake. In the ER design, the tube component provides shock absorption and transmits the entire torque load, providing long life in high duty cycle environments.
